X-RATED: ADULT MOVIE POSTERS OF THE 60S AND 70S

X-Rated

You don't see many one-sheet movie posters for adult entertainment anymore -- no, those went the way of the dodo when the videocassette revolution put smut in the average American household and emptied out the porn palaces. It's too bad, too, as he posters were great: lurid, dangerous, and appetizing. How could someone resist a film like 1974's The Divorcee, whose one-sheet proclaimed that the main character was "Sexually handicapped by order of the court"? Or how about 1967's Depraved, which touted itself as "A swinger's tour of the far out, unnatural and forbidden ways to love!"

Well, editors Tony Nourmand and Graham Marsh have put together a fabulous collection of posters from the earlier years of triple-X entertainment in X-Rated: Adult Movie Posters of the 60s and 70s. The book contains over 150 movie posters, the likes of which haven't been seen in decades.
